Video: Gilad Shalit at ‘BBQ’ in Gaza

Hamas issues a video of Shalit during his captivity depicting the soldier at a ‘cook out’ with his kidnappers.

Shalit was abducted by Hamas in June 2006 and held for over five years before being exchanged in October 2011 in return for the release of over 1,000 Palestinian prisoners held by Israel which later after 2011 most of them got detained again in the West bank and killed in Gaza in 2014 during the Israeli genocide. 

The footage of Shalit roasting a chicken comes four days after Hamas posted a photograph of Shalit smiling behind one of his captors, Hamas Abed a-Rahman al-Mubasar.

The clip with Shalit was broadcast as a small part of a documentary film shown on Al Jazeera called "The Black Box," which deals with the fighting last summer in Gaza.
