Austrian
authorities have arrested a young Palestinian from the Gaza Strip, Abdel Karim
Abu Habal, 27, at the request of the occupation authorities since September
2016.
Abu
Habel's wife said that her husband traveled to Turkey in 2016 and stayed for
two weeks before moving to Austria, where he stayed for 4 months. His return
was ready and waiting for coordination. He was arrested by the Austrian
authorities on 20-7-2017.
She
added that "the reason for his arrest is incitement to Israel according to
what the Palestinian embassy in Austria told us, and his arrest was at the
request of the occupation," stressing that the embassy told them there are
fears of Austrian authorities handing him over to the occupation authorities.
His
wife said that the staff of the embassy visited him twice, and the Austrian
court held a trial session in March, and postponed to the twenty-eighth of last
April, and the family until the moment
did
not know what happened in the session.
She
reported that her husband is a prisoner released from Israeli prisons. He was
arrested by the Israeli occupation forces in 2004 when he was 14 years old. The
occupation released him in 2013 after being imprisoned for nine years.
