ISIS haunts Palestinian revolution cemetery gravestones in Yarmouk refugee camp in Syria

Members from the terrorist organization ISIS on Sunday bulldozed the cemetery of the Yarmouk camp martyrs, destroying it completely.
Palestinian sources have confirmed that among the graves destroyed were those of martyrs Sa’d Sayel “Abu al-Walid”, Khalil al-Wazir “Abu Jihad”, Zuhair Mohsen, Jihad Jibreel, and dozens of other graves belonging to martyrs of the Palestinian revolution.

Palestinian media sources have revealed that the cemetery has had its gravestones destroyed and was flattened by “ISIS”, noting that the organization’s members did so in order to “execute a Sharia ruling”.

The Fateh movement has condemned this awful action, asking for the culprits to be punished, and asking that the martyrs’ remains be transported into Palestinian soil.

For its part, the family of martyr Sa’d Sayel stated “we are not surprised by the action perpetrated by this foolish organization in its bulldozing of the martyrs’ cemetery, which also destroyed the graves of martyrs Major General Sa’d Sayel “Abu al-Waleed”, and commander Khalil Al-Wazir “Abu Jihad”, along with a great number of other martyrs’ graves…the martyrs of the Palestinian revolution…the martyrs of freedom and independence….those who fought in the name of God to liberate their homeland, who have brought pride to this nation with every drop of pure blood that was spilled from their veins.”

The family also added, in its statement on Sunday “Therefore we strongly condemn all of these outrageous actions that are alien to our noble religion and time-honored traditions, and we ask all free men in Arabist Syria by punishing the perpetrators of this awful massacre committed against the best of us all.”

They continued “what happened today at the martyrs’ cemetery in the Yarmouk of pride and honor has opened the way for us to ask that the martyrs’ remains be transported so that they be buried in the soil of the homeland that they loved and loved them back…firstly because it is the right of the families of martyrs, and secondly because of the recurring incidents that region has been through…what happened today in the bulldozing of the martyrs’ graves leads us to worry that these terrorist organizations would commit something even more atrocious.”

The family has also asked all Palestinian authorities to work on transporting the remains of the revolution’s martyrs in the Yarmouk cemetery so that they be buried in their homeland…with pride and dignity, close to their families and those who love them…
