An Israeli District Court held in Jerusalem-Palestine
this morning session to pass judgment on the youngest Palestinian prisoners,
Shadi Farrah , aged 12 years,
from Kafr Aqab.
The district court prosecuted the Palestinian child with the charge
of possessing a knife. Shadi's father said that his son was tortured with electricity.
Representatives of the European
Union and the Organization of Human Rights Watch are scheduled to attend the hearing along with Shadi’s family.
Earlier, the same court sentenced the child Muawiya Alqam 6.5 years
in prison and a fine of seven thousand dollars, on charges of stabbing.
A leaked video of an investigation process with Manasra showed the
psychological and physical violence has suffered by the investigators of the ( internal
intelligence service (Shin
Bet ), in order
to extract
confessions from him under threat and intimidation.
It is
noteworthy that since the beginning of the third Intifada the Israeli
occupation forces has detained thousands of Palestinians, including children,
on charges of carrying a stab attempt against the Jewish settlers.

12 years, if convicted of murder or attempted murder.

authorities to imprison a minor convicted of serious crimes such as murder or
